The Trust for Public Land in Montana

The Trust for Public Land is a national nonprofit organization that protects land for people to enjoy as parks, gardens, and other natural places, ensuring livable communities for generations to come. In the Northern Rockies, TPL is focusing its work on protecting and connecting our most intact ecosystems: the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE), the Crown of the Continent, and the Salmon-Selway. Since we started working in this region, TPL has protected about 535,000 acres of land and 600 miles of rivers and streams.
